Beard transplants are performed in the same way as a hair transplant. We will extract the follicles from the back of the scalp using either FUE or FUT technique. The technique used will be based on your expectations and degree of donor availability. Once the follicular units are removed, they are relocated to the face based on the visual design plan. Placement can be to add density to the cheek area, fill missing patches of hair in the beard, add density to the chin region, and/or thicken above the lip area.
